On 8/14/53, Maynard recorded the tracks Skin Deep, For Europeans Only, Phalanges, and Caxton Hall Swing with Louis Bellson. Other trumpeters on the session were Harry "Sweets" Edison, Conrad Gozzo, and Ray Linn! What a line-up! Anyway, these four tracks, along with the track Loris (which does not have MF), found their way onto this 10" LP, The Exciting Louis Bellson late in 1954. They also showed up on the Skin Deep LP, along with several other tracks, in 1955.
