Comments

Here’s the album Michael Feinstein fans have long been waiting for! At last, we have the pleasure of hearing “The Standard Bearer of America’s Music” in a crooner’s ultimate setting -- with a swinging big band. But not just any big band, mind you. For his first recording ever in this context, Michael goes all out, teaming up with none other than legendary trumpeter/bandleader Maynard Ferguson! With Feinstein’s elegantly swinging vocal stylings contrasting magnificently with Ferguson’s robust trumpet and lyrical flugelhorn -- all cradled in the exciting, big city rhythms and sounds of Maynard’s swinging big band -- Michael Feinstein makes a big splash with Big City Rhythms.

Webmasters Note
This album sucks bigtime.
I would recommend not wasting you money to purchase this recording. Feinsteins vocals are piss weak and the band sounds like a middle of the road studio band. Even Maynard does to really let loose.
This album is a big dissapointment to me.
