MF plays on all tracks, and is especially fantastic on Invention for Guitar and Trumpet, which was written by Bill Holman especially for Sal Salvadore and Maynard. Kenton is smoking a cigarette on the cover, so I predict this will be a real collectible some day. This LP version includes Kenton's "Prologue (This is an Orchestra!)", which was not included on the 10" or EP version. MF blows his brains out on this!!!
Note that the Creative World re-issue, released in the '70s. My experience is that this is a much rarer record than the original.
